Frequently Asked Questions About Professional Life Coaching
What is coaching, in your approach?
Coaching is a structured, reflective partnership focused on clarity, alignment, and conscious decision-making.
In my work, coaching helps people understand where they are misaligned (in work, role, values, or identity) and how to move forward without betraying themselves.
It is not advice-giving, motivational talk, or performance pressure.
Is this therapy or psychological treatment?
No.
Coaching is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
It focuses on the present and the future — on choices, direction, and responsibility.
If you are currently working with a mental health professional, coaching can coexist with that work, but it does not replace it.
Who do you typically work with?
I work primarily with:
- Professionals in transition (restructuring, layoffs, role changes)
- People experiencing loss of meaning or misalignment at work
- Individuals navigating power dynamics, burnout, or ethical tension
- HR leaders or teams supporting employees during change
Some clients arrive exhausted.
Others arrive clear but blocked.
What they have in common is a desire to regain agency.
How are sessions structured?
Sessions are conversational, focused, and reflective.
Depending on the person and the topic, I may use:
- structured questioning
- visual mapping
- NLP-based models
- reflective or hypnotic language patterns (when appropriate)
Each session has a clear intention, and the work continues between sessions, not only during them.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before starting?
No.
Many clients start with a feeling rather than a goal:
- “Something is off”
- “I can’t stay like this”
- “I don’t know what the next step is”
Clarity is often an outcome of the process, not a prerequisite.
What languages do you work in?
I offer sessions in:
- English
- Italian
- Brazilian Portuguese
The working language is agreed upon in advance.
How do I start?
If my work resonates, you can reach out by email to request:
- an initial session
- or information about working together
Please note: I work with a limited number of clients at a time and respond personally.
Do you work with companies as well as individuals?
Yes.
My individual work can be adapted to:
- workshops
- group sessions
- transition support initiatives
These collaborations are discussed case by case.
